Mac OS X software I use
First of all, the essentials:
- Minefield…
an Mac-optimized build of Firefox
- Emacs.app…
the will is there, but I just can’t quit..
- KeyRemap4MacBook…
the name says it all. the source can be fairly easily hacked to remap
pretty much any key to any other.
- PCKeyboardHack…
remap keys on a windows usb keyboard
- QuickSilver…
I really only use it as an app launcher, but indispensible even so.
Playing nice with Windows
- NTFS-3G and MacFUSE…
read/write access to NTFS volumes (like Boot Camp), all nicely packaged and easy to install
